UFABRIK scales new heights for Mountain Print

Portsmouth-based Mountain Print has transformed its business by integrating UFABRIK materials and installing a 3.2m wide Mimaki UJV55-320 UV LED printer from CMYUK. By leveraging the eco-friendly, high-performance UFABRIK Blackback UV Textile alongside cutting-edge printing technology, the company has dramatically increased production capacity, reduced outsourcing, and expanded its service offerings.

“The printer’s speed, quality, and productivity blew me away. Its ability to print two 1.6m rolls simultaneously is a game-changer for us, and it’s probably tripled our capacity,” says Darrell Mountain, Director, Mountain Print.

Mountain Print sources all its textile roll materials from CMYUK –  the exclusive UFABRIK distributor in the UK and Ireland – choosing UFABRIK for its consistent quality and performance. “The UFABRIK Blackback UV Textile is outstanding. We recently printed a graphic for a gaming company, and the result was flawless. The material’s thickness and flexibility are perfect for stretching around canvas wall flats, hiding seams effortlessly. It’s just really impressive,” says Darrell.

With the Mimaki printer and UFABRIK textiles, Mountain Print is now able to offer new applications like lightboxes. The business is actively exploring the use of other products in the UFABRIK range that offers solutions for 95% of all applications within the digital wide format print space.
